Hello blogosphere... It appears I haven't given much love here for several years. Short update, well short for me.
2013- Graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work- Weber State University
2015- Graduated with my Masters of Social Work- Our Lady of the Lake University
2015- Fulfilled my lifelong dream of becoming a therapist.... Now I'm supposed to know what I'm saying and sometimes I do.
Mikayla is currently serving a mission in the great state of Washington. She is 20 years old now but I still see my little girl in there sometimes. Avery is almost 17 and decided this is a good time to try out all the teenager angst. Connor is almost 13 and he has changed the most-some good, some not so good. We are a dysfunctional, functional family just surviving from one day to the next. We have two munchkins that make our life complete; Paco and Princess....

New Years Resolutions
Ok... I'm taking a cue from Marilyn this year. She wrote New Years Resolutions last year and they seemed to happen so....
One more thing about Marilyn and then I think I'm done lol. She has been trying to get into my thick skull if I think good things, good things will happen, so...
Resolution number 1 is change my thinking. I'm gonna believe good things will happen and when possible make it happen.
Resolution number 2 of course has to do with getting in shape lol. It always does doesn't it.
Resolution number 3 is live in the moment. This one is gonna be hard cause I"m all about planning for the future.
Resolution number 4 is to find a husband. Hey it worked for Marilyn lol. The kids are really pushing, and eventhough I'm terrified it's time to make it official. Thats good for now. I'll write more later.

trying this again
Ok after checking out Jaime's blog and seeing that Zak has one now I figured I needed to get with it. lol
This blog was started for me by my good friend Jaime and I haven't done a very good job of keeping her updated so here goes :)
The guy I was dating who helped me with the computer things is gone now, so I'm taking applications lol (for the computer stuff) :P
My kids are incredibly grown and they change daily. I'll post pics as soon as I figure out how
Kayla is 13 going on 20, beautiful, and most days we get along
Avery is 10 going on who knows what depending on the day. Total drama and keeps our life interesting around here.
Connor hmm what can I say about Connor that I haven't already. He is great. He keeps me on my toes, and as of this week he can't lie because it hurts his heart. I sooo hope that continues thru life.
Ok now me I'm in here somewhere. I work at a dead end job, but I do it in my jammies so it's a tradeoff. After work I get dressed and go to college. Yes I know just a little late, but I think the saying is better late then never......
We are hoping for a great new year come Jan. and were just hanging on till then lol.

Movie Review
For those of you who know me this will not be a surprise lol. It's time to give my opinion of the movies that I have watched recently.... Do what you will with the info. :)
He's just not that into you. - Every single woman should see this. It's great for the delusional such as myself, and the sane like my friends. It takes the guess work out of guys clues.(btw there aren't any clues. Believe it or not what they say is what they mean lol) I laughed, and then laughed some more and it was great fun to go with two friends-one married, one single. Now married woman should see this also as long as you are secure in your relationship ;) That means you Verlyn, and Deb :)
Don't think I forgot about you guys.... Your my favorite part lol. If you love her go, If you are still trying to impress her go, otherwise run the other way. It will put you to sleep
The Reader- I love Kate. I don't think I need to see every inch of her body, but she has chose to act that way so I will deal. If you don't mind nudity and want an intriguing story that you can't morally judge just enjoy than the Reader is for you.
Revolutionary Road- It was depressing. However seeing Kate, and Leo again was worth all the slow lines I endured. It was a movie that I have seen many times, but to see these two act in it made it more enjoyable. Side note - Kathy Bates is fantastic as a clueless mother who allows her son too much leeway.
Bride Wars- It's fun for a girls night out. No substance, but fun.
Thats it for now, but you know there will be more

Nintendo Wii
It has been proven time and time again that Connor is an athlete. Well once again it was proven with the Wii also. Connor is the reigning champion out of the family on any sports on the Wii :)
bowling is his specialty, but don't underestimate him in boxing either.
Mikayla has mastered the art of Rockband, and lets all of us know it.
Avery just accommodates us all by playing when we need her :)
As a side note: I want to thank my good friend Jaime for beginning and inspiring this new adventure in blogosphere lol

Alyson
Alyson is an beautiful, amazing single mom of 3 adorable, smart, wonderful kids. I am starting this blog for her because I don't see her or hang out with her as much as Id like and I hope she keeps it updated for me :)She has been through a lot and I hope she will be able to share all the ups and downs with us.
